Banner Production Outage Apr 26, 2025 07:00-14:00 EDT

The Banner system will be undergoing maintenance Saturday, April 26, from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM EDT. Access to Banner Admin pages and self-service functionality such as registration, advising, fee payment, grade entry will be unavailable.

In addition, access to additional systems listed at http://tiny.utk.edu/banner-maintenance may also be impacted by this outage.

ISAAC NG Cluster Maintenance May 19, 2025 08:00 - May 21, 2025 17:00 EDT

The HPSC group at OIT has scheduled an outage for the ISAAC NG cluster from May 19th at 08:00 am EDT to May 21st at 05:00 pm EDT. During this period, both the cluster and the User portal will remain unavailable to the users. The outage is necessary to upgrade the Operating System of the entire cluster infrastructure to RHEL 8.10. Please contact the OIT HelpDesk at 865 974 9900 with questions about this announcement.

Scheduled - An upstream provider for The University of Tennessee will be performing network maintenance on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, beginning at 16:00 EDT and concluding at or by 00:00 EDT on April 17, 2025. This will be intrusive maintenance for hardware replacement. Services impacted by this maintenance include:

Network Service to National Institute for Computational Science (NICS)
Network Service to Joint Institute for Neutron Science (JINS)
Internet2 transit services for The University of Tennessee Knoxville, Chattanooga, and Martin
Internet2 transit services for UT Medical Center, Knoxville
