Scheduled Maintenance

UTHSC Planned Firewall Maintenance May 2, 2026 09:00-13:00 EDT

The UT Health Science Center will perform firewall maintenance on Saturday, May 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. EDT. No service interruptions are anticipated. However, if connectivity between the UTK and UTHSC domain controllers is disrupted during the maintenance window, UTHSC-associated accounts in Knoxville may experience issues logging in or authenticating to certain resources until connectivity is restored.

Haslam College of Business Network Maintenance - May 16-20 May 16, 2026 09:00 - May 20, 2026 17:00 EDT

OIT Network Services will be performing maintenance in the Haslam College of Business Saturday, May 16, thru Wednesday, May 20. During this period, the following wired and wireless network outages are expected:

Sat 16
Whole building outage 9:00am – 12:00am.
3rd floor outage 9:00am – 5:00pm

Mon 18
1st and 5th floor outage 8:00am – 5:00pm

Tues 19
4th and 6th floor outage 8:00am – 5:00pm

Wed 20
2nd and Mez floor outage 8:00am – 5:00pm

To request supplemental cellular service, please coordinate directly with the building’s technical team.

Scheduled - The service provider for the Middlebrook Warehouse will be performing intrusive network maintenance on the facility circuit on Tuesday, April 14, between 1 PM and 3 PM EDT. Users at this facility should expect a 15-minute interruption of network service during this window. This maintenance is necessary to facilitate the service upgrade for the facility to 500 Mpbs service.

Resolved - The issues with MyPrint have been resolved.

Investigating - We are currently experiencing issues with MyPrint that may prevent some printers from appearing in the print selection menu. OIT is actively working with the vendor to identify and resolve the issue.

In campus computer labs, users can print successfully by printing directly (normal print) rather than using MyPrint on the lab computer.

Scheduled - The Banner system will be undergoing maintenance on Saturday, April 4th, from 7:00 AM to Noon EDT. During this time, access to all Banner services such as admin pages and self-service functionality such as Registration, advising profile, and Faculty Grade Entry will be unavailable until maintenance is completed.

In addition, access to systems listed at http://tiny.utk.edu/banner-maintenance may also be impacted by this outage.
